Dog [&] morton-sooley

Could anyone help myself and my father trace our family tree?Our ancestors were all born in and around elm.At the moment i am trying to trace a John Morton Sooley who I believe could have been my great great grandfather. My father is Terrence Sooley. My grandfather was George William Sooley.My great grandfather was George Morton Sooley and we believe his father was called John.Sadly we cannot find this John in much of the history and cannot connect him possitivly.I would be grateful for any help recieved.

hi Karen this is David john sooley i do not know if i can help you but the page taken from family bible as a John Morton Sooley

born 6 July 1866 Wisbech there are more names of this side of family on the page we live in Newark Notts

I can now confim that john morton sooley was my great grandfather and was married firstly to susannah goodson and then to a sarah bosworth.His father was also called john but he was john morton whom i believe married susan sooleythis would have been around 1807.
