Brian Clayton

Brian, please contact me, my name is Maurice Cole, 75, between 1942 & 1946 I lived with my grandmother, Mrs A.T. Carter at 9a Ermine St, Rowe's Yard, we have a mutual friend Edna Becker, who I found on Ex-Pats two years ago, & she has just told me of you, she told me that you have lost your wife, my dear wife died from cancer nine years ago, from cancer too, we  where unable to have children, & I live on my own now, do you remember me?, I can't remember if we ever met, I went to what was then known as Huntingdon Elementary, I walked there via Toby's Trunk, the Head was Slater, "Pop" behind his back, I guess you're a relative of Mr Clayton, "Lippy" who ran the shop, among several things I bought there, were the obligatory catapult & sheath knife! after school, I worked as a delivery boy at Iron's branch on the corner of Rowe's Yard, for the princely sum of 10/- a week, did you know Ray Howes, or Bob Lamb? both now sadly passed away, then there was Fred Stapleton, oh, I could go on & on, but that's enough now, please please contact me, if you haven't  got a computer, get a friend to email me with your postal address, we have so many things to reminisce about .

Sincerly, Maurice
