ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICE
Business support is central to the HDC Economic Development Team's effort to nurture a healthy, diverse and sustainable local economy for Huntingdonshire. From co-ordinating advice and support for both start-ups and existing businesses to promoting business to business networks, our aim is to foster an environment where enterprise, however large or small, can grow and prosper.
Our current strategy prioritises sector development in the creative industries, high value manufacturing, environmental science technologies and high-tech and knowledge based enterprise sectors.
Our £2mn Creativexchange enterprise centre in St Neots is due to open in November 2008 which aims to attract and retain creative talent and nurture its development into successful and growing enterprise.
Our on-line services to business include: available property search; local business directory; funding search; and, Huntingdonshire in Perspective - a visual overview of the district.
